how do I find my sons class number? He started Jan 8, 2017, from what I see his class number would be 08-17. Is that correct?. If not, what would it be ?

we've had links to the FB photo page for a long time: click http://www.navydads.com/page/ocs-class-photos
I am still having trouble with the Navy Dads site. It will not allow me access to the groups, yet it says I am a member. I wanted to let some of you know that they have started posting pictures on the Facebook site.
I went to the direct link for the group and for some reason I cannot access it.
Here ya go Nell, http://www.navydads.com/group/navyocsdads/forum/topics/class-08-17-...
And here's a direct link to the group where I started the thread, http://www.navydads.com/group/navyocsdads Apparently it's called Navy OCS Dads not Officer Candidate School (OCS). Oops. Moms are most certainly welcome in the group.
Hi Nell,
Your daughter was lucky you were within driving range. I think my son ended up in 4 different airports because of the storm. So much for his direct flight.
Sorry I didn't see your reply back here. It's in somebody's blog and I guess we don't get notifications of replies to blog posts. Please join the Officer Candidate School (OCS) group here and I'll start a thread and link to it for you. Once you post in the new thread, you should get e-mail replies and then anyone with a kid in the same class as ours can hop on if they'd like. The more the merrier.
If it makes you feel any better... I was suffering from Jewish Mother Syndrome too. I spent a few hours reading whole forums here last summer so I could become more comfortable with being uncomfortable. Then last week I spent several more hours reading and did find some exceptionally good threads here at NavyDads that were buried back several years. I found them to be extremely helpful to me. They may help you better understand what our kids our going through too.... I'm all for demystifying the process. Will definitely add them to the new thread for you.
Hi LTB, We are from Conn. and were lucky enough to drop her off last Sunday. What a way to start OCS. My husband and I have been trying to read up on any info we can get, so I am grateful for your response. We have resorted to social media for pictures and see they have a FB page for previous classes. Please share any info and we will do the same.
Nell
Neil Glass> Awesome. That makes four parents here with kids in the same class. Was your daughter one of the fortunate ones during that blizzard who was able to phone hime when she arrived before having to store her cell phone in a locker?
It's my understanding quite a few of them stuck in airports and rental car lobbies ended up with dead cell phones and weren't able to phone home. I can see it happening. So many people addicted to social media that they camp out on floors at terminals plugged in to stay online. Hard to charge one's dead phone when one is competing with gamers. Our son and the six others with whom he connected at assorted airports charged their phones in the vehicle they rented trying to get to Newport. That's how I came by their class and division number and the mailing address.
Looking forward to talking to you and your daughter also. We do plan on flying out for our son's graduation.
My daughter started the same day. Thank you LTB. Look forward to talking more in the future to you both.
Lennox York> I believe you may have missed my previous post on your comments page. I am adding it here. I believe our sons actually are in the same class along with the son of another new member to NavyDads, Our sons are in the indoctrination phase and it's my understanding there will be a communications black out period (which is an integral part of our sons' training/programming) that will last a month if not longer depending on many variables... each class is different-

Lennox York> Our sons may be in the same class. I don't know that they'll be able to contact us for several weeks but we can send letters to them.
