DVDs in Care Packages

I went to Amazon and sent two DVDs to my son who is deployed in the Med.  The package was refused in Il. I'm about to send him a Christmas package but now I'm afraid to send it because it contains a DVD. Any idea if it's because it came from Amazon or if it was the DVD that caused the package to be rejected?

  • Amazon broke the order into two packages.  The one that was rejected was from a non-Amazon vendor the second package was shipped directly from Amazon and arrived in Chicago 5 days ago and seems to be moving OK.

  • They shipped it USPS and I had the correct FPO address, I'm thinking that they didn't fill out a Custom's form so they sent it back to sender.  I've been searching the web and couldn't find anything that would exclude sending DVDs unless they were pornography.

  • how was it shipped?  FPO MUST go by US Mail----UPS or FEDEX will not work
