First Orders and Leave time

Does anyone out there have any idea when our sailors receive their first set of orders after their "A" school training and also how and when do they receive leave time after "A" school.

my daughter got verbal orders about a month before graduation she just got her final orders and will graduate on may 3rd. and yes we are going. she gets 17 days leave before her next station overseas some sailors are grad and go to there next station depending on rate and where they will be going

my son got verbal orders toward the end of A school. they can also be changed at the last minute. his actual orders came after A school graduation.  They accumulate 2.5 days leave per month and are allowed to go up to 5 days back (or to the negative) Sometimes they can come home between stations too

James, they usually get verbal orders before they finish A school. My daughter got her verbal orders about a month before she graduated.
