Graduation day

The invitation said that it would be on Thursday Sept 3rd for ship 06 Div 942. I have not heard a word about any changes, and his letters do not indicate that he will not. But I am holding back on any reservations until I know for sure. Money is very tight these days and I will barley be able to afford the trip as it is. It really better be on time because my boss will not let me reschedule my vacation days :( . This is all so nerve racking. I really need to be there for my son and for myself.

I was in the same boat that you are in at this time. Coty told me not to make any reservations until I heard from him. I never heard anything so the morning before, I got out of bed at about 3:30 and left the house at 5:30. I took my mom, daughter, and two sisters. We shared the expense, which was alot easier on my pocket book. Now, we live in Tennessee and drove to Chicago. Coty called me that evening and told me that he would graduate. I was relieved considering that I was already in Chicago. I was looking at the Sears Tower when the phone rang. The reason that they don't know is because the do battle stations the night before and some may not pass. Coty did thank goodness. I'm sure that everything will be fine. It is frustrating but, they do try to make sure that they all pass.
