Hoping We'll Make Our Son's PIR

Please pray for us, we're worried that we might not be able to make it to our son's PIR. Tim has a PIR date of September 10th. Well, my wife had to leave her job due to some health issues and we just had to have a car repaired. So, the budget is getting really, really tight. I know this is a very important date for Tim and don't want to miss it if at all possible to go.

We ended up doing Shedd's Aquarium on Saturday and Navy Pier on Sunday. Lots and lots of great memories. We also have lots of great pictures. We'll get them up over the weekend. Thank you all for your support and prayers. We appreciate them very much.

I can't describe how moving yesterday's PIR was. Shortly we'll be off to pick up our sailor for the day. We'll post much more plus lots of pictures when we get back.

Made it to Springfield, IL last night. Had an excellent dinner and a good night's rest. Up early and letting the wife sleep in. About a four hour drive left to get to GL area. Thanks for all the prayers and support. We're so happy to be going to Tim's PIR.

when theres a will there a way god answers prayers great news !! it was about a 15 hour drive for us but worth every ,mile tell your son we are all proud of him

I've got my fingers crossed for you Dany....PIR is an awesome experience and something you should not miss if at all possible.....I understand the issues that come up, Lord knows I've had my share over the years so will put in a little prayer request that all works out for you !!
