My son hasn't written or spoke to me in almost a year; even though I constantly write him every week. Last night I received an email; he had posted pictures on his myspace account. It didn't say much, but it is a breakthru to me. I have been ecstatic all day. I'm just so proud of my son and even though in our past we made mistakes with each other. It's in the past. I'm still proud and I still love my boy. (young man)Greg.

Greg, The sailor in that picture is not the child who joined the Navy. He is truly a man and with that will come all else. May God sail with him always

Greg Congrats! That is a rewarding breakthrough. Just keep taking those baby steps. Like I said Email's are a great way to communicate with your Sailor. I know this will be a great New Year for you and your son. Keep me posted on the progress. P.S. He looks like a fine young man.
