Memorial Day at the Ballpark in Arlington, Texas

My son Adam along with other future sailors from the DFW area took their oath yesterday before a sold-out Ballpark in Arlington crowd. This took place on the field behind home plate before the beginning of the Rangers and Yankees baseball game. Thanks to Navy for Moms and the U.S. Navy for putting this event together.

Ralph, since you were probably at the Game I thought I would let you know that in the 6th inning Fox Sports SW interviewed my Daughter, she is in Navy for Moms, and she had several Sailors around her. The camera zoomed in on them in the stands and that is where they did the interview live. She said it was great seeing them take their Oath. I am not sure but I think the person on the left of the guys in white shirts is my Daughter, she was suppost to be apart of the event on the field. I cannot tell who is giving the Oath.

Tell you son My Family and I are proud of him and the others for his disision to join the Navy.
