Hi,this is Rick wanting to thank everyone for all the love and compassion we are getting,it is appreciated. Here is an update so far,ncis came to my daughters apt,took clothing and samples throughout for DNA,here lawyer was present at that time as well,a request for restraining order and command transfer was put in.The Co has 72hrs to approve or deny request.She heard back the next day with an approval!So now we wait for new orders,she was able to request a command but that takes a week or so.She should be within driving distance now instead of 4000 miles away.She was also told she now has the option to ask for honorable discharge due to severity of case,but wants to wait to see if justice is served.So after orders are received they will be packing her up and shipping car and belongings shortly thereafter.This is where we stand right now and once again thank you all for your support. Will post new info as it comes in thank you!

Rick, I sorry and disgusted this can happen in today's Navy.  Ensure your daughter gets ALL documentation on her case medical, police, line of duty investigation, it will help when she files a VA claim.  Have her contact VA (female blog) soon for direction..............good luck.
