Anyone have an SR with a PIR of 1/3/14 ? Just got word today this is our sons group and he is Ship 2 Div 907

    Eric and Brad - Sorry, I too have been spending mostmy time on Facebook. We did get to see our son as part of the 12/13 PIR performance. He seemed to be doing well. He had even written home that he was bored. Well you know what they say about being idle. He got in some trouble and now will not grad until 1/10. Frustrating, but a lesson learned, we hope.

    We have a SR with a PIR of 1/3/14 as well.  He is on Ship 2 Div 908.  I see from an earlier post they were to perform at the 12/13 PIR (drill team).  We were unable to see the original broadcast and saw they were going to put the video on this website but I have not been able to find it.

    Sorry for the delay...been on the Facebook page mostly. Alex will be. Boatswain's Mate (pronounced "Bosun"). His A school is across the street from RTC so he'll get the full benefit of a complete winter in Great Mistakes! Hopefully he'll get assigned to the PAC Fleet after that so he can warm up!

    Received our second call home. Div 907. He sounds tired but doing ok, only a bit of a sore throat. Several changes in division leadership, but they are all improving. They will perform at the 12/13 PIR in addition to their own. Supposed to get another call Tues.

    Yes we will be going to grad on 1/3. Received the forms about Christmas break for this training group and have made the decision to go have Christmas in a hotel in Great Lakes. Our SR will be able to bring a fellow recruit with him for the day. Also received first call on Sun 11/24 and got first letters today. He seems to be doing very well so far. He is a bit older and knew what to expect because his brother went through it a year ago.

    Got my first letter a couple days ago.   My son went in as a "MT"-Missile Technician.   He's enlisted as a submariner.   Are you planning on attending the graduation?

    Here you go. Mostly moms, but good group with lots of info. Has been very helpful for my wife and I both times we have been through this. What rate is your son?
