I created this video for my son as sort of a "send off" with photos of his childhood and family memories. He leaves for recruit training on Nov. 16, 2009. He will be a Sonar Technician (STG) and going to A School in San Diego (Point Loma).

Thanks all. I appreciate the kind words and encouragement for my son. I know Brian will do great at recruit training and A school. I am really looking forward to PIR. Nothing could keep me from attending that event!

Gary....Great video and fine looking son and family. Man the years fly don't they dad ?? Prayers for your son and your familyas he approaches recruit training...Hang tough and all will be good...As mentioned a zillion times make sure you attend PIR......

Thanks Cora. I appreciate your kind words. My son really loved the video also. He said that he tagged it as a favorite on YouTube. While I am very excited for him, I know that I'll miss him very much after he leaves for recruit training. At least he will be fairly close by geographically when he's in A school!
