  Being from Wisconsin I have always been fond of this ship.  Last year during the spring concert at our high school, the band played the piece composed for the retirement of the ship, sorry I can't remember the name or the composer.  The band director, knowing my son had enlisted, had him introduce the piece.  At lest for me, it was a very special moment.

  I'm with Otto, Cool! The Wisconsin is one of my favorite ship's. When I started the site it came down to two banners, the Reagan and Wisconsin. The flight deck of Reagan won out but the Wisconsin was a close second. How ironic though my son ended up on the Reagan.
