Cant belive I get to see my sailor in a week, its going to be a long week!  My wife RSVPd for sarge's meet and greet, hope to meet a lot of you there.

Good morning, looks like it is going to be cold for battle stations our daughter graduates the same day, what is the meet and greet?

Battle stations is indoor so no worries about the weather save for marching to and from the USS Iowa building.....

Thanks for info on battle stations her last letter said that her division has a big couple of days coming up with different tests. Hope she does not call till after she passes battle stations.

you keep that phone close on her BS21 day.....the calls can come at any time after they conclude....many divisions have a RDC hosted pizza party or vote for some rack time and shut-eye before calling mom and dad!!!!!

My wife and I both have to work so we could be off for graduation, but our other daughter will be home till around 2:30 pm. Hope she will call by then. Just want to say good luck to all the recruits in rtc hope they all do well.

Wow looks nice wish the weather would be that nice next week, but I was fortunate enough to see her on Christmas day with another shipmate who I adopted for that day.We all had a great time and was well worth the trip.

What a great video, did not have this when I went through Navy boot camp in the early 80's. Looks like it is fun but demanding.

If you look on the right hand side of this page twards the bottom you will see the sarge's meet and greet for the PIR of 1/10/14. Its going to be on Thursday the night before graduation.

Good afternoon, wondering if anyone who has a son or daughter has heard from them lately. Our daughter graduates next Friday and we are very anxious to see her. Does anyone know what there schedule is for the next couple of days?
