Christmas Leave

We finally got a call from my son.  His PIR is 12/21.  He mentioned that he could possibly get 10 days of leave after.  He has to submit an itinerary and his flights would be covered by the Navy. Does anyone know how this works?

Ship 03, Division 020

Our son transferred into this division after some sort of problem  --he's been gone over 5 weeks and we still have yet to get a second letter.   At this point my wife is hysterical and I have to agree with her-- We shouldn't be this disconnected.   S

P.I.R Question

I noticed that my SR pass in review has only 7 divisions scheduled for 10/26/12 where most other dates have 12-14 or more. My question is do you think I will still need to be in line at the gate by 0600 like everybody suggests.

PIR Gift?

Anyone have any good ideas out there for PIR gifts?

I have heard some give challenge coins, but I'm not big on giving those.

Anyone know if sub sailors are allowed to carry a personal knife?

Puzzled

MY son left on AUG 20 and P week doesnt count got the form letter from him
