    dbcpa,  the MUT was a big hit.  It's worth the money.  It's like a toolbox and it's designed to work with the M4 and M16.

    rog,  Wouldn't matter anyway: they are incommunicado and will be till the end.  Based on Official Navy PR, they are probably blowing stuff up at this point.

    I'm still here as well. We're wondering what to get our son for a BUD/S graduation present, and so far are just considering a Leatherman MUT (thanks for the suggestion). We won't be able to visit Coronado until (hopefully) graduation in the fall. Hard to believe he's almost done with the initial training.

    Nice to hear from you all.

    Trying to think of a good present for him completing this milestone soon.  Going to visit and already got him a Cold Steel pocket knife and Leatherman MUT.  They were big hits.  Did want to get him a diving knife but diving knives are pretty personal and he'd never tell me the one he wanted anyway.   Got him a GoPro camera for christmas.  Any ideas?  Maybe something for surfing?  ???

    I'm still here watching, even though my son isn't in BUD/S anymore. But I would imagine it's hard to have any meaningful discussion about what your guys are doing, based on the restrictions here. Keep on going guys!
