Great idea EG! Daughter Kat is a MC3 aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln and has been stationed there for about two years now primarily writing and editing the shpi's paper, the Penny Press. Son Eric is a AM3 on the USS Theodore Roosevelt and works in the Tire and Wheel shop where they are responsibile for all the aircraft tires. He has been aboard for a bout a year now. Both have completed 7-month deployments to the Mid-East: Kat retured last Oct and Eric last month.

I figured we could bring all the carrier parents and family members together to share info about life on Aircraft Carriers. I will post info on all the carriers in this group in the coming days. I hope to share and trade info on what carrier life is all about.

My son Evan is an ABE aboard the USS Ronald Reagan and works with the arresting gear on the flight deck. He has served about 7 months aboard an Aircraft Carrier.
