Hi Michael, my daughter Holly is an AB(E)/Greenshirt on the Lincoln. Sounds like it was good deployment for everyone. Hi there to Frank as well, Holly was a Grad-n-Go herself, we had less than 5 minutes after PIR with her before they tossed her on the bus and took them to the airport. A few hours later she was calling us from Pensacola Fla. It was still worth the trip to Chicago.

Hello all,We are up here in Brighton Co. Our son has his PIR 4-22-11.We just found out he is a "grad-n-go" he will leave the next day after graduation. He will be attending A-school up in Conn. He will be a MM for our awesome submarine fleet.

Great to see a Colorado group. My Son, AM3AW Gerrard just returned from a 6.5 month deployment with VFA-34 Blue Blasters w/CVW2 aboard CVN72 Lincoln supporting Operation New Dawn and OIF. He is stationed at NAS Oceana. Welcome home to all onboard CVN72. Great job Blasters !!!

We have a list for the Molly's Adopt A Sailor packing party if you are interested in donating items.  The information on the event is in the discussion above.  We would love to have Navy Dads come alongside us.  We are packing 1028 St Patrick's Day bags for a ship.

Please contact us at:

Thanks everyone

Mike was picked up for the STA-21 program so he is attending Oregon State University courtesy of the Navy.  He really enjoyed his time in Charleston for A school and Power School.  He was also stationed in Saratoga Springs for part of prototype before he left for university.  What office in Colorado did your daughter enlist out of?

Hey Colorado Dads we REALLY need your help.

We need specific items for this packing party.  We are going to make 1000 St. Patrick's Day individual bags for our adoptees.  In order to do this we have a list of the items we need and must keep an ongoing tally of what has been purchased.  Once you RSVP you are coming I will send you the list directly.  If you can't personally join us we would love to have donations and arrangements can be made to have you drop them off early or one of us to pick them up.

Thanks for joining us in this most exciting adventure.

Jamie,

Our son Mike is a Nuke also and has been in 2.5 years.  He too is an MM and is currently in Corvallis, OR getting his degree in Nuclear Engineering.  While A School, Power School and the 2 months of Prototype he did were hard, he truly loved what he was doing.  Tell you daughter she will do great.
