  • my boy Alex just swore in yesterday down at MEPS at Fort Meade. He texted me from the airport in Chicago that he was waiting on others to join him before heading over to RTC Great Lakes.
  • morning John.... My sailor is currently stationed at the Norfolk Naval Station, (ships Company) this is his first assignment after A school, he entered the Navy on June 3, 2009. I visited him two weekends ago. He is a Master at Arms thus he is in Base Security, gate duty and Patrol Car. he gave me a tour of the Naval Station and the Oceana Naval Air Station which was of special interest to me as i was an Aircraft Mechanic, AD, during my tour in the Navy. My best wishes and thank you to your son for his sevice.

    he took the Fleet wide test for MA-3 yesterday, Results will not be know until May or June.
  • Where are everyone's sailors? (career wise) Dan is halfway thru A school in Great lakes for Hospital Corpsman (HM) He got his orders yesterday for Camp Lejeune and FMTB (Field Medical Training Battalion) and seven more weeks of Marine boot camp!
