I know you are very proud of him, but I hope you both will still have a Merry Christmas away from each other. I know the Navy seems to like parties, concerts, celebrations, so he will have a good dinner and such :). What does his dad have planned though for the holiday??

No- he is attached to the ship (Theodore Roosevelt) as a AM3 and will be celebrating Christmas somewhere in the Mideast in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Paul I checked out the link to Norfolk and seen the two bases websites look exactly the same with almost all the same information :). . .I decided to make the group for both bases! Hope this is okay and you feel more like you belong than just helping out a poor sap like me hehehe.

Awesome Paul. . .thank you! I also visited that page about a week ago hehehe, again in a huff I had to leave and never got it bookmarked. You two guys are so wonderful, I am used to standing alone but love having company :).

Yes that is the page. . .I did find the same page myself yesterday, but I had to rush off and never was able to save the link. Thank you so much for posting it :) I have it in my bookmarks now! I am very proud, they do look impressive thank you. . .now to ask my son what color outfit he wears hehehe. He said they wear the overalls, which I am guessing the dark blue utilities? Mike thank you so much for joining this group, you also Paul, I am touched with the gesture! :)

Mike - he told me VSA-211 and attached to USS Enterprise CVN-65. . . that would be so cool, thank you :).
Paul - I guess I should of made this group for both bases since they are only 16 miles apart hehehe.
