Take your umbrellas. We got
caught in a down poor just as my
son crossed the stage. Then everyone was
hustles into the gym and there's no room in there.
Otherwise, it was a great time.

William I have to agree after watching my daughter go through it. Do your best to make power school graduation that is the big one. At goose creek they do a real nice ceremony

Congratulations to all the dads whose Sailor made it all the way through the pipeline. My son is scheduled to graduate ET A school in 8 weeks.

GP, nice to hear your Sailor will be going to the Boise.  I live in Boise, Idaho.

My daughter has been in the navy for 2 1/2 years, (she's a Petty Officer 2nd class) so we've got this all figured out, but it's still not easy.  Youngest son graduated from High School on May 28th and will be reporting to Great Lakes on June 28th.

Here we go again!

My sailor got orders today. Upon completion of ELT training, reports to the SSN Boise, Norfolk Va.

The new nuke sailors are getting the hard sell to re up. No tax on the bonus if deployed in the right location and ship. Up to $75K to sign. So far my sailor has said no but he says a lot of shipmates are signing. I've got mixed feelings, wanting him to come home and wanting him to succeed financially and career wise. It's tough in what to tell him. (though as a teenager I couldn't tell him anything ;-)

My daughter graduated prototype in March. While she was there, there was an issue with the plant that caused a tin of folks to be delayed. Not at all surprising that it would domino down the line

My son and Daughter in law both Nukes graduated Power school in late April and are being told that they will have at least six months before they go to prototype. Daugher in law is takiing college courses and son is doing work on base as needed.
