B's Mom, Hopefully we will all meet up. They found a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath, full finished basement for $1700 They have to pay heat (oil) has a fireplace and central air. That's their top pick but said they want to look at a few more.
@Richard. Congratulations!! I can't wait until I can say the same. Amanda is praying that she gets a ship on the west cost.

Just got word my son (ET) finished up at BS - and will head out to serve on one of 4 SSGNs in King's Bay.

I never figured he'd want to live in the south ---- we live in a cowboy-type town in Colorado!  Alas, there's a southern belle from SC somewhere in the story ----

It's been 2 years from boot camp to graduation from prototype.

In any event - Thanks for walking the path with me!

Brian - my son thinks he knows who your daughter is too! He & 2 of his buddies are renting an apartment in BS.....if the houses don't work out for your daughter have them check www.winnerscircleatsaratoga.com .  I know they have 3 bedroom apts for rent - only thing is they are unfurnished....but they are pretty close to where they will go to school/work.  It's nice that you are so close to BS - our son keeps getting further & further from CA.  Oh well, we always wanted to visit NY!

Bob - yeah it's going to be interesting in NY - my son is a California boy and doesn't really know much about the snow LOL.

He's flying home on the 22nd so we will have him for Christmas and heads back to NY on 1/10 ;-)

Congratulations to all who passed their Cop's at Goose Creek......now on to that next step.

For all those headed to Ballston Spa, Dress warm, our son Matt is their now 2 months into Proto Type....Good amount of snow on the ground.

Have a great Christmas!

Congrats to all. B's Mom, my daughter recognized a picture of your son. Amanda is also going to Ballston Spa. They (her and 2 friends) have been in touch with a realtor and will head up to look at houses when she is home. It is only about 4hrs from us.

My son passed his re-test for Power School!  He said they ALL passed.  So happy right now! Now it's on to Ballston Spa for Prototype!

Congratulations to your daughter Brian!  Great job to all those that passed comps on Tuesday.

My son, along with 29 others, did not pass :(  They will "re-comp" on Wednesday next week.....as son says "It's One & Done now". Please keep all of them in your prayers!

Congratulations to my daughter ET3 Moore and all her shipmates who passed their comps exam today. You all should be very proud of yourselves.

Thanks Gary - I texted him what you said - no reply from him though as he went back in to study!  I appreciate everyone's input and hopefully we can get this figured out in a timely manner...
