We are in Saginaw. Our Sailor is on the Nimitz and about to re-enlist as well, not sure if he will stay there or moving into something different.  I would be glad to meet with yall.  PIR was a great experience for our entire family.  Bless you all and our sailors.

I am in NE Tarrant County (North Richland Hills). We will have to meet for coffee some weekend and solve all the world problems.

We're in SW Ft. Worth, and our son is onboard the USS Enterprise and currently deployed - Big E has had a very eventful deployment so far, and it's barely half over. Here's hoping it calms down for the rest of the trip.

For those who have not yet had the pleasure, PIR can be an extremely emotional, proud and patriotic moment. It is so incredible to see such fantastic young men and women standing tall and proud - you will love it!

Seeing so many mid-cities folks, did anyone graduate from L D Bell here?  I was '76.  My sailor has been on the USS Blue Ridge, the flagship of the 7th fleet for 2 1/2 yrs.  His PIR was 2008 and is now a Petty Officer 2nd class.  Havn't seen him for 2 Thanksgivings and 2 Christmas's, but I think this is the year!!!!

Don - congratulations! We are up around Denton. I've posted some videos on my page if you'd like to check em out. My son is in Charleston now 15 months into Nuke school. Peace to you and yours. You will love PIR!

Thats cool Tim. Ty also as he said "smoked em on his PT and aced his academic". He got a phone call for his performance which was cool but I missed it. He talked with his mother and sister though. He said something about being Recuit Chief Petty Weapons Officer but I have not been able to find what that is so I will have him clarify his position. It sucks they only have sundays to write. I have a letter now that is 4 days long. Will finish it tonight so I can get it in the mail tommorow. I also know he is very home sick and I am not sure what to do for him. I know it will only become easier but trying to convince him of that right now is pretty tough one week at a time.

Adios for now.

Any new news on SR's from Texas? I keep seeing lots of Texans making the honor grads. Congrats and thank you to all.
