On the middle day is when you're treated to an at-sea airshow that is pretty awesome - considering you'll be on the flight deck while they launch and then recover the aircraft that fly in the show. I'm an airplane geek and work in F-16 engineering, so I was pretty much at the happiest place on earth for me.

Comment by Kerry Tams on July 19, 2012 at 9:08pm: 3 days, 2 nights. I want to say we were aboard by noon the first day, off of it around noon on the third. The times will depend on high tide on those days. It went by much too fast!
