Got an email from my daughter.

I had got the snail-mail from the cruise photo people.

This time she's smiling.

Will have to order the photos and send to all the in-laws and all.

She said -- send pix to grandmommy and poppy and your brother and all

Will see the cruise book in another year or so.

Received a call from my son this evening, the Navy is finally putting him on the Lincoln. He chose to sign on for two more years for the training opportunity. I am sure he will be a great part of the team.

My son Aaron is currently on the Lincoln. We haven't heard from him in exactly 4 weeks now. I hope he is doing well and is okay. Keep up the good work all sailors onboard.

I received a phone call from my son at 5:00 am, it was good to hear from him. Then to top it off I also got an email later on. All good news. He was a little upset that when checking news sites for the videos of the Lincoln, all he could find was Whitney Houston stories.

Great pic of Big Abe going about its business!  We received a call from our son via ship phone and it was great to hear his voice.  They are very busy and focused on the task at hand.  God bless all the sailors on the Abraham Lincoln and other vessels within the AOR.
