Eric, best prices I could find so far at that price is a row boat rental. LOL

Dan, did you sign up for any specific phase for the cruise? First phase is six days, second is four or third phase is a total of ten days.

Robert, your not alone in the dark and yes we will more than likely pay premium for the flights.  But I believe a life time experience is priceless.  So I am saving up all my pennies and collecting cans.  I just might start a car wash too boot.

I pray that I am not the only one in the dark about the details. If it is like anything else the Navy does I am pretty sure we will be paying premium prices for tickets.

How many days is the cruise and how will you know when to buy plane tickets?

Maybe someone who has been there, done that can tell me if you can take RVs on base?  We are thinking of taking the RV to San Diego for the homecoming.  This will be our "car" for the few days we are in town.  My elderly in-laws will be attending with us, so having the RV nearby would allow them a more comfortable place to wait.

Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

Thank you!

P.

My wife and I have done the paper work also and waiting to hear back. So we are looking forward to our first tiger cruise with our son Benjamin.  Hope to meet the gang of the Boat Show and DZ. Any tips on what to wear or carry on the cruise?

if you haven't already, check the Tiger Cruise group or better, the Theodore Roosevelt group....There are a bunch of blogs and slide shows/video about the cruise...kind of set the mood for ya!!!

you guys are going to love the cruise......take MANY photos (I took about 545 and wish I had taken 3-times as many and I was only on-board for two days!!).  Just remember that it is a working combat vessel and not exactly like a Princess Cruise!!
