Last full day with Evan :(

We put him on a flight back to SD tomorrow at noon. We've had a great time with him and can't wait until his next visit. Glad to see everyone had a chance to spend time with their Sailor after this long cruise.

Crystal, too funny! we are also celebrating Thanksgiving dinner with Evan today. It is his favorite meal and we have family and friends coming to celebrate early with us.

This week just went by to fast!

Reminder for those that want to write about the experience.....check out the Tiger Cruise group. I posted a bunch of blogs about my cruise in April....why don't you consider sitting down and writing about your experience and sharing it with those that won't get the opportunity to stand on the flight deck and watch a number of cat shots up close and personal!!!

my son and I are back from the most amazing trip we have ever been on, the 2009 USS Ronald Reagan Tiger Cruise. This was the most fantastic opportunity we have as parents of sailors, it gives you a great appreciation of what, how, and where our sailors serve their country. If you ever have the chance to sail on the Tiger Cruise I strongly recommend that you take advantage of the tremendous opportunity the navy offers to friends and relatives. I will do it again if possible.

Once again this year it was my honor to one of the "Tigers" on the USS Ronald Reagan CVN76, Tiger Cruise 2009. This was my third Tiger Cruise on the Reagan. Each time I go I find more and more young people in service on the Reagan who represent the best of America and our greatest hope for peace and continuing leadership of and for the United States of America. Thank you to each and every person serving on the Reagan. And to all your "Reagan parents" out there, regarding raising your kids...well done!

Almost time to go back to the ship. Many little things left to do and memories to keep close to my heart.

We just walked in the house with our Sailor! It's good to have him home. I'll post later how the visit go's. Evan is home for 11 days.
