At MEPS in San Diego. He hasn't shared yet when he leaves for basic, his job will be Missile Technician. I work in the South Bay, live in the Inland Empire.

Newest barracks opens at NBSD...
On Feb. 3, NBSD opened the doors to the newly constructed barracks located on the dry side. — at San Diego Naval Base.

The outdoor space was designed for Sailors and their friends to be able to enjoy the San Diego weather. Two large screen TVs and plenty of seating are available in the new barracks...

Some of the features of the new building include a movie room, vending machines and a space to hang out...

My hubby can't make it. Weekdays aren't conducive with his work schedule! Let us know when the next one is planned and hopefully he can attend. Hope you all have a nice visit!

Ok Monday the 17th is set. My friend owns the matador in downtown Fullerton. I just need a head count to make the reservation.

This annual Navy-hosted event includes the public in raising money for the Navy's Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs. MWR provides Quality of Life programs for our 500,000+ active duty and retired military, reservists, their family members and civilian employees who make up our San Diego Military Family. This unique 4-mile run/walk has a one of a kind spectacular panoramic view as participants make their way to Coronado's beautiful Tidelands Park from downtown San Diego over the Coronado Bay Bridge. During the finish line celebration, runners receive a commemorative event shirt and complimentary transportation back to downtown. Hope to see you on the bridge! http://navylifesw.com/bridgerun/

Lon Mondays are normally bad for me but I will make it happen. I have a friend who owns or owned a place in downtown Fullerton let me check some availability. Anyone else have some suggestions on where to meet?
