Wow, thanks for the encouragement, I um a little emotional about this stuff.I always have felt things deeply maybe alot more than most men,I dont know.I am divorced and my 10 yr old daughter is missing her brother more than me.He is her protector and they are super close as are he and I.I keep a strong attitude of encouragement for her sake, but I will be honest, some days it is just hard to ,its just hard.I am so glad I found this site it is making a big difference.I know with time and knowledge,I will become more comfortable. That said Proud cant cover how I feel.He has amazed me with how fast he has matured in such a short time.It seems like yesterday he was waddling unsteadily from his mom to me on the living room floor.Alright thats enough rambling, gOD bless all our sons and daughters and to the all of you parents.May peace be with you all. :)
Jason, we are also a close family. He has beed away now for three months and we are still trying to adjust to him not being in our home. We have two other children still in the home that are missing their brother very much. My youngest which is my daughter and is only 5 and does not understand and keeps asking when her brother is comming home. My second is my middle son he is 16 and used to share a room with his brother, he is also feeling it hard. My wife is taking it day by day as best she can. Our salor is the first one to leave the nest so she is taking it hard as well. As for my self, i miss him like crazy but i am also so proud of him words cant even discibe. I am glad my family and i are not the only ones feeling like this.
God bless each and every one of our sailors and your families.
Jason you can do and say anything on this site as long as it's within our Community Guidelines.
Post away, ask away, share and let it all out what's on your mind. All in the name of our sailors and those who have served, if you read through the thread you'll see football talk, food, pictures, sad stories, good times and so forth.
We are all on the same ship here and are here for each other. Take Care and God Bless...

I dont really know what to say here?It can be anything right? lol I miss my son,we are really close emotionally and I guess its hard to not have that .I was never close to my father so I don't wanna lose that with my son..I am proud of him and this was the best decision he ever made but I just still have a hard time with it. I am new here as well so maybe I am still in a weird place.Anyway any advice would be appreciated from fellow californians.I am looking for fellowship from people whom understand.THanks an GOD BLESS you all and all the Sons and Daughters in the military.Peace Be with You All.
