At MEPS in San Diego. He hasn't shared yet when he leaves for basic, his job will be Missile Technician. I work in the South Bay, live in the Inland Empire.

Congrats to your son Scott on his decision to reenlist!
Our son passed his Power School test yesterday and will now be heading to Ballston Spa, NY, for Prototype school. He flies home on 12/22 and leaves on 1/10 - a nice Christmas for us!

Actually, the Nimitz is gone already. This shot was taken after they completed a Tiger cruise from Pearl Harbor to San Diego. They have been on deployment since March, and are scheduled to arrive in their home port of Everett, WA this morning. I know my son can't wait to see his wife and little girl after 9 months at see. He's very happy to be home for the Holidays! We hope to get up to see them after the New Year.

Great shot Gary. My youngest son is on the Nimitz. My nephew served for several years on the Ronald Reagan, and now serves on the Carl Vinson. How cool to have all three in one picture!
