At MEPS in San Diego. He hasn't shared yet when he leaves for basic, his job will be Missile Technician. I work in the South Bay, live in the Inland Empire.

Our son came home for his first leave after graduation from A School in Charleston (Nuke). Great to see how much he's grown as a young man through this experience. He's just happy it's less humid here in the Delta and doesn't rain all summer.

Wow this brought back happy memories hehe..
When we visited our son and stayed at Coronado Island @ the Navy Lodge to be specific, we all loved everything about the Island. At one point as I was driving through the civilian neighborhood my wife said, you know, I could live here I love it here! Mind you she's very picky with places and things...I then in turn said, you know me too. As soon as we we get home I'll go through our closet and hopefully find the couple of mil in cash we have laying around, then we can all start packing LMAO!
