Hey all,

It's been forever since I've been on this site but that doesn't mean I've forgotten about my friends.

A few changes have taken place since I was last here. One hasn't been confirmed yet. The other is that Morgan has deployed. We were able to go to California and spend some time with him and Ally, his wife and were suppose to see him get on the bus and leave. However, they were delayed for almost a week so we didn't get to do that.

As much as I had prepared myself for his leaving, it still wasn't enough. Saturday was a tough day. I even called my brother and ask to borrow his house, tv, and surround sound so we could watch Avatar. I couldn't handle being at home. How many of you dad's can say that! I was able to play with my 4 yr old niece and hold my 4 month old niece. It was the best ending to a very tough day.

I'll post some pics soon so you can see how short I really am when I stand next to Navy and Marine guys!

I'm sorry you feel disconnected. Life has been so busy, frustrating, challenging, etc. I disconnected myself. Now that Morgan has deployed, I know I'll be more active again. How is Wes? Your grand daughter? Thanks for checking in, I will update the pictures within the next day or two. Don't know how you managed to go through a literature course but you must've loved it!

Aww it was great to read the update on Morgan (and Ally, his wife, wow!). I still feel disconnected from the group here since Wes was discharged, but I really miss chatting with you and a few others. I just finished a big course (Literature) and taking a breather so I wanted to stop in to say Hello!! Please update me and I can't wait to see the pictures :). God Bless, Michele
