I HAVE TO SAY, READING ALL THIS E-MAIL TRAFFIC IS REALLY PUMPING ME UP. THIRTEEN DAYS AND

A WAKEUP I'LL BE IN CHICAGO AND THE NEXT DAY WILL BE PIR. HAVE TO SAY, IT'S BEEN A

CHALLENGING TIME FOR THE SAILOR AS WELL AS THE PARENTS ( FOR ME THAT IS)..KEEP THE E-MAILS

COMING!!! PS...ANYONE KNOW WHAT A CAB WILL COST FROM O'HARE TO THE NAVY LODGE?

gregory i would call sarge he is a lot cheeper then city cabs i think he charges about 100 dollars round trip heres his number 8472120246

Of course another option is to setup in advance for a door-to-door Airport Shuttle from O'Hare to Navy Lodge versus taking a cab. When I checked at that times their fees were competitive...

Gregory there is good public transportation from O'Hare based on my experience it involves taking a number of underground trains then the Metra train. It is much cheaper by far but of course you have to know exactly which trains to hop on that will take you closest to the station from Navy Lodge. In our case, we got off at Waukegan and took a short cab ride from there to our hotel. Whatever you do if you end up in downtown Chicago get a quote first for a cab. The quote we got for a cab ride to our hotel was well over a hundred bucks! From what I've seen and heard if you cab from O'Hare to Waukegan/Gurnee area the average flat fee is around 45-50 dollars...
