Our dog died right before Christmas so we added a new addition to the family a couple of days ago. We have a new male Golden Retriever. We cannot agree on a name. With Evan being in the Navy and spending so much time on the site we think it's name should be Navy related. This is what we came up with. Sailor, Carrier, Freedom, Chief, etc. I want to know what you guys can come up with. I would love to have your suggestions or a favorite of the ones we've come up with. So basically we're trying to come up with a name for the new Navydads.com mascot.LOL

I'm sorry we forgot to tell everyone. We finally decided on Sailor and when my son takes him to deer camp his name is Gauge. So he's kind of confused at this point. I'll post some pics this weekend. Thanks to everyone for the input. We now have a Mascot. LOL

we have a black lab that just so happens has the same name as the ship my son was in in INDOC. the SS COLE. Trevor thought that this was neat as this was his dog from a puppy and he enlisted when cole was 2yrs old
