Praise be to God! I'll pass the good news along, about Heath. HUGS
Any news on Tom?
Hannah, as you can se you're not alone. We will hold you up to God, and God will hold you up until you are steady on your feet.
Paul, Keeping Eric and his wife close to my heart and in my prayers. Just think once they get through this how strong their marriage will be!
Paul we will keep your Eric in prayers. The moving and transitioning can be very difficult. They have each other to get support from, but the Navy family here will keep them in prayers that it goes well and smoothly and that things turn around for him at work.
God is good indeed, and watched over Heath. I hope he does stay there today and overnight. Will keep him in prayers for his complete, problem free recovery.
Paul,
I'll be praying for your son and daughter in law. Transitioning can be one of the hardest things to go through.
We got a call from Heaths doctor about an hour ago. The surgery went well. He said that the appendix gave quite a fight, it had adhered to everything around it, but the doctor won the fight. He had to tear some muscles to get it out so there is a lot of pain involved right now, but no complications. He said that the incision is only 1 1/2 inches long. He is giving Heath the option of going back to his barracks today, but we are encouraging him to stay over night. I don't think it's ever a good idea for someone to be alone right after a surgery. The pain medication alone can make for some dangerous situations. Thank you all so much for your continued prayers. I'll update again tomorrow. Good night all.
some strength and prayers for son Eric as well....he got married Aug 2 and has been in Hawaii for about 2 weeks now...wife Tami is in Ohio taking care of issues with moving household goods and dog to the Islands as well. It will be a month or two at least for them to be seperated....they need their strength to get through this trying time! As well, he does not like his new command so it will be a difficult period until housing and the move are finalized....so I understand you issues Hannah...keep the faith- the Lord has great plans for you clearly and things that are to be will be.....
Hannah,
As difficult as it is to do, your willingness to see the truth and to speak it and yes, even live the consequences is admirable. And apparently you have a measure of faith and know the Lord. He will reward you for being truthful. Even if it seems painful right now, and lonely..know that He is with you. He says that He'll never leave us or forsake..He'll never turn His back on us or a deaf ear to when we tell Him what we need. I'll be praying that He sends good friends your way to help with the lonliness. And in those times when it's just too quiet, He's only a prayer away. Keep your chin up. Tough times are always temporary. I'll be keeping both you and Trent in my prayers and I'll be praying for you to be strong when things just seem too tough.
God bless Hannah,
Robin
Hannah, and a sailor too! thank you for your service. your family, friends (inclusing us) is only a key stroke away, I know cyber hugs aren't the same, but hug a stuffd animal or pillow and squeese real hard, that's me giving you a hug, can you feel it? You are stronger then you think! the chapel choir will do, just stick around people of Faith, pray for guidance and tell satan to get behind you. We are all here for you and pulling for you.
fishdad, another mom sent this to me and posted it on our prayer wall on navyformoms, so I'm passing it on to you. get your kleenex out! I cried and cried, but it lets you KNOW how important Heath is to all of us. Hope you feel the LOVE.

Dang, "here" not "hear" and "be there" not "bet here" DOH!!!
Hannah, you can get through this, this test of your strength and resolve. As blondie said, truly you are not alone. You have all of us hear. I am an earth mother and treat each of you as my own when I reach to God in prayer. I pray you and Trent can remain friends and continue to be supportive of each other. Reach out to your family through the cyber space available. There are church services on base no matter where you are, find one that you can attend and reach out to the Father. He is there and will not abandon you. As blondie said, He has plans for you, you're just not aware of what they are. He works that way "-) Friend me and I will always bet here to "talk"
Hannah, I am so Proud of you. number one rather then fake it or cheat....you've decided to be honest with yourself and him. very mature. Number two, you're asking for help and prayers (I'll be praying for both of you) and number three you see the pitfalls and that is half the battle of avoiding them. It always hurts to leave our comfort zone and lets face it since Kindergarten! but know that God has a plan and he is with you Always. I hope that the two of you can always be friends and continue to care and pray for each other. Do you have family close? are you in college, have a job? do you have a Church family? you are a very wise young lady, but your right you have to be careful where and to whom you turn. Can he help you with this? use him as a sounding board, sounds like he knows you best. And you can do the same, continue to write and chat with him, help him see drinking, drugs, loose women etc.....God Bless you both and I'lll be sure to add you to my prayer list, you can talk to me anytime. HUGS
