Our prayers go out for this sailor, may he find confort in our God. Praying he has lots of friends and shipmates to see him through.

Cora, that is tragic for that Sailor on the Reagan. I lifted him in prayer this morning.  If we are all doing this for days to come, our Lord will see him through.

We sang one of my favorite songs at church today.  "This is my Song, oh God of all the Nations."

This is my song, Oh God of all the nations,

A song of peace for lands afar and mine.

This is my home, the country where my heart is;

Here are my hopes, my dreams, my sacred shrine.

But other hearts in other lands are beating,

With hopes and dreams as true and high as mine.

My country’s skies are bluer than the ocean,

And sunlight beams on cloverleaf and pine.

But other lands have sunlight too and clover,

And skies are everywhere as blue as mine.

Oh hear my song, oh God of all the nations,

A song of peace for their land and for mine.

May truth and freedom come to every nation;

may peace abound where strife has raged so long;

that each may seek to love and build together,

a world united, righting every wrong;

a world united in its love for freedom,

proclaiming peace together in one song.

This is right where I live. Praise God I have not been flooded. My family members have some minor damage. Sailor came home 1 hour prior to all the flooding. Now we have to figure how to get him back to RI on Sunday. God will provide us an answer. I trust he can handle a little thing like a sailor needing to go back to base. But over all Life is OK.

Will everyone pray for all of those in Eastern  Pa from all of these floods. I just watched a video on Youtube and man I didn't realize how bad it was over there.

one of my friend's prayer this morning, I say we all could use it. just insert sister, daughter, mother,aunt etc... for females, see what you think.

Lord, thank you for this day....i pray not that you remove my addictions and shortcomings but that you give me the strength i need to work through these problems.......the outcome will not be good or bad, it will just "be".......please grant me the strength to be a supportive and understanding son,brother,father, and friend to my fellow man...i ask you this through Christ, Our Lord...amen

Amen?
AMEN!

Thank you for your prayers for the family of Army Specialist Michael Roberts. Michael will finally be buried on Friday at the DFW National Cemetary. Michael was killed in Kandahar, Afganistan when he stopped the driver of a car bomb from entering a crowded secure area. Over 20 people were injured, but due to his bravery only he and the bomber were killed. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. May God bless our children who pay the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
