Navy Prayers: This is for anyone to post prayer request. We need a quiet place to go and leave prayer requests and to read them and pray for those requests. This is nondenominational. Please feel free to leave a prayer request or to take a moment and pray.

No sorry, I know he came out of surgery okay and was in good spirits, they are all exhausted as I'm sure you are too.
How's Heath, is he moving around more? getting out? eating? You all are so heavy on my heart, I pray constantly.
My daughter's coral injuries are healing nicely, her lock-jaw was do to wisdom teeth and ulcer on jaw. They poured acid on the ulcer and gave her 800mg of pain killer and sent her back to work. they are in a very important, critical manuever. she was in good spirits and said I can't wait to get home (Japan) and skype you, need to see your smiling face. Isn't that sweet? I told her I miss you too Baby! Still not sure they will make it back by the time you leave, so be sure to let me know where Heath will be staying once you leave.
Thanks Blondie. Any news on how Tom is doing?
I surrender it all to the hands of the Lord. He will see us through.
“He gathers the lambs in him arms and carries them close to his heart.”
Isaiah 40:11
He’s the eternal comforter in all of life’s trials and tribulations. He holds, cradles and lovingly cares for us with an undeserving infinite abundance. He gives us strength and wisdom too see beyond anxieties and fears. He fills us with an incredible sense of peace.
AMEN!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
thanks for the updates.
Father we ask that you hold Tom and Heath in Your loving arms. Give their doctors wisdom and their families rest, comfort and peace. We ask for healing for all our wounded and ill military and safe passsage back home. Protection to our sons/daughters in harms way. But most of all Father w ask for eternal life for all. Amen
There has been news of Heath's progress and Tom's recovery. Lord God, we thank You for hearing our prayers. Hoping and praying for continued healing for both.
Any news of Tom, how his surgery went?
Father in Heaven, you know our needs, please be with us and grant us salvation.
Praising God and asking for continued care for you all. can you send me a pm with the date you'll be leaving? the BR is still out to sea but my daughter is hoping to make it there in time to meet you. either way she will look in on Heath, once you leave will he have to go back to ship?
Rick,
Praying hard for Tom today. I want you to know that he's being lifted up.
Hannah,
I'm not sure that I'm allowed to give out Heaths address, but I can give you ours and my husband will see that it is forwarded to us here. I'll try to send it to you in a private message.
And an update on Heath:
Today he seemed like himself which is the first time I could really say that since I've been here. His pain level has decreased significantly and he's up and moving around. His appetite is picking up a little. We went and got him some Protein Powder for shakes to try to get some weight back on him. He's still at 120 lbs. on a 6 foot frame. But, we'll get there.
He won't be out of the woods (as per the Doc) until his appendix is out and at this point that will be at least 7 more weeks out. So, please continue to keep him in your prayers.
I can't tell you what your prayers and encouragement have meant to us. It's really been our breath and food through all of this. We've lost 7 family members over this past year, including both of my parents and a close cousin just this week, but this has been the hardest thing that we've been through. We simply cannot measure or express what it has meant to us to get on Navy Dads every day and see your words of encouragement and hope. Thank you for being Gods' hands and feet for us. We'll never be able to adequately thank you all, but we do pray that God pours out his blessings on all of you for what you've done for us.
We'll be sure to keep you updated on how things are going.
God bless...and much love,
Robin
