Navy Prayers: This is for anyone to post prayer request. We need a quiet place to go and leave prayer requests and to read them and pray for those requests. This is nondenominational. Please feel free to leave a prayer request or to take a moment and pray.

a few more prayers for Heath.
Prayers for sailor Heath and family, guide the doctors, gentle the nurses, cleanse his body of the infection and strengthen him for wholeness. Amen .
O MOST mighty and merciful God, to whom alone
belong the issues of life and death; In this time of
grievous sickness we flee unto thee for relief. Deliver Heath,
we beseech thee, from his peril; give strength and skill to
thy ministers of healing; bless the means of cure; and grant,
that, perceiving how frail is our earthly life, we may apply our
hearts unto that heavenly wisdom which leadeth to eternal
life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Just thought I'd pass a few on maybe you could read them to him. Love and HUGS!

Praying for Heath and his family.
Dear God, please guide the doctors in the care of Heath. Lay Your healing and loving hand on him and bring him through all this illness. I pray for his mother & father to have the comfort and strength only You can provide. Give Heath the comfort and peace of Your love and care. Amen

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." - Romans 12:12
Remember, He is always in control and everything will be okay. God bless!
Fishdad, sorry to hear about the set back. I will keep praying for him and hope they find out what to do.
Prayers going up, when I get home I'll light a blue candle for him. Hugs to you, keep the Faith.
They could put a PICC line in. It is a peripheral IV line that sits in the big blood vessels outside the heart. Then the Antibiotics can big given without worrying about his small viens. Sounds like he is still very sick. Will keep him in my prayers.
We had a set back yesterday. The CT scan showed that the abscess has divided. The doc said that he's just not sure what to do. His lungs are all gunked up. They are talking about going in with a needle to try to clean them out. They really don't want to do that. His veins are giving out due to the strength and duration of his meds. Feeling discouraged and concerned. Please pray for Heath. Thanks.
"I am in pain and distress; may your salvation, O God, protect me." - Psalm 69:29
Please Lord protect our military and bring comfort and Peace to their families
All my heart and soul go out to all of those who lost loved ones this past week. I will keep you all in my prayers.
This was already picked as special song for Sunday's service, but it was so much more bittersweet in light of our Afghanistan losses.
In the quiet, love is reaching.
It's yours to hold,
Be still and know that
Even when you're lost and lonely,
And hope is gone, you're not alone.
Far beyond the understanding,
There's a hand that leads,
If you believe.
Through the darkness, see the light.
Remember God loves you.
The road ahead is long and winding.
With eyes of faith, you'll find the way, yeah.
And when the journey leaves you weary,
You can rest in the comfort of heaven's arms -
Sweet loving arms.
And peace will follow.
Peace be with you always,
As you go.
For now you know that...
Through the darkness, there's a light.
Remember God loves you.
When you open up your heart,
His love will meet you where you are.
He will always be a part of everything you do.
He is here to set you free,
And give you all the strength you need
To carry on, to carry on.
Through the darkness, see the light.
Remember God loves you. (remember, remember)
Remember God loves you.
