Praying without ceasing.

My heart breaks for our Military families going through the great sacrafice.  Honor and respect to all those who serve.

So happy to hear Tom and Heath are moving along the path toward healing. Mama's love and care will perservere and win!  Tom's body just needs time to accept this new gift, it is good to hear they have moved him to his own room. Hugs and comfort and strength to these two families.

Fishdad, so happy to hear Heath is doing a little better. I will keep praying he gets his appetite back and gets his strength back as well.

Rick, glad to hear Tom is out of ICU also. All the prayers everyone is saying is working.

That goes for both Heath and Tom.

God Bless the Families that lost their sons in the raid and helocopter yesterday." Home of the Free because of the Brave." They are with God now.

So glad to hear that Tom is out of ICU. That's a good sign! I'll continue to pray.

Heath is getting stronger every day. His White Blood Counts keep moving in the right direction. He's getting another CT Scan in the morning and we'll know more then. He's terribly skinny. Over 6 foot and he only weighs 127 lbs. I'm trying hard to get him to eat but he still doesn't have an appetite. Praying that I get to stay at the Gateway Inn here on the base because all of the rooms have a kitchenette and I can cook for him.  Thanks so much for asking. Please be sure to tell Tom that I am praying. Praying for you as well Rick, I know how taxing it can be. God bless.

Prayer is an act of love, words are not needed. Even if sickness distracts thoughts, all that is needed is the will to love.

CONCERT AT THE PARK - August 14, 2011

HONOR ~ REMEMBER ~ CELEBRATE

OUR VETERANS

The Ohio Veterans' Memorial Park is the home of The Ohio Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Wall. This 125 foot long black granite wall is the longest free standing monument in the United States.

The polished black granite wall is engraved with the names of 3,094 men and 1 woman who gave their lives in combat in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War.

The back of the wall is engraved with the histories of every war that Ohio has been involved, beginning with the War Of 1812.

We have a great day planned to honor our veterans and their families for their sacrifices to the cause of freedom and safety for our nation.

Please join us on August 14, 2011 and applaud our Heroes with a day of celebration, music, fun, food, family, friends and appreciation.
