Blondie,

Thank you again for your kindness. He doesn't have any appetite right now but they are all coaxing him to eat. He does love anything starchy...pop tarts, cookies and such. And he likes sour things...he might be able to tolerate something like gummy worms. I know that it's not the best nutritionally, but he hasn't eaten in two weeks so anything that might entice him would be great. I'm sure the Lord will guide you heart when your looking. I can't tell you how much your kindness to my son means to us.

Much love.

Rick, we are praying for Tom. That God would bring him healing through this surgery and renew his strength. Praying for you as well...we know all too well how difficult a path it is. God is able.

Dear Lord

You are the eternal healer.  We lift up Rick's brother in law, Tom.  Please guide his medical care team.  Please hold the family in your arms as they await the outcome of the surgery. Know that we are here supporting this surgery and the relief it can be from dialysis.

Amen

fishdad, thanks for the up-date!  I have hundreds maybe a thousand people praying now.  take some deep breaths and try to do something nice for yourself (like eat something or get some sleep, LOL) you will be no help to Heath or understand the medical terms if your not rested and healthy.  We know he has the Best medical care he can have, we're all praying, the passports are in the works.......take care of yourselves! we need a rank and last name to send cards and packages. his is what I have.......

He is in the Base hospital in Yokosuka and he will be there a while so that would be the safest best for anyone wanting to contact him or mail him anything. You can get their address on their website. ..sorry it's escaping me right now. My brain is on overload.

Concerning the passport, I talked with my Congressmans office this morning and we have the ball rolling. Hoping to have it by Monday at the latest. A lot of things to take care of in a very short amount of time. A bit overwhelming on top of everything else. I'm not sure how to do private messages on here or I would. I'm so sorry. Thank you all for your encouragement and help. It means so very much to us.

Praying for fishdad and his sailor. This might help a little. About three years ago there was a situation similar in nature (passport problems)  One of the members mentioned for the Dad to contact his Congressman.  He did so and everything was expedited and it really helped the situation.  Fishdad you might try to make that call.  Congressmen have a way of being able to push the right buttons.  God bless you and your family.  Hope this helps a little.
