But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

So happy to hear you got to speak with him and that he's getting strength back!  we are all gathering (in spirit) every night at 6:00 pm eastern time (everyone will have to figure your time off that) to Pray for Heath, his docors and his family/shipmates. Prayer does work, give Thanks to God.  we've been praying every morning at 9:00am EST for Japan and our servicemen/women over there since the earthquack, we do not give up. lol  3 or more...........God wants us to ask and to pray for others. Glory is His name.  w've lit candles and sent all kinds of healing spirits etc.......

I have one mom traveling to Japan soon, the date escapes me I believe it's this weekend?  I will check to be sure, but she has offered to stop and see him, others are offering to send cards etc... to help with his moral, all I need is an address, I've been known to send packages also. (hint, hint)

Blondie, Thank you for forwarding that post. We're getting a lot of info that supports that. The hospital is very well spoken of by so many of our friends that are in the Navy. We have a strong peace about where he is right now. We spoke with him tonight and he sounded good. He's regaining his strength and is finally able to eat a little and keep it down. God's hand has been on him and we see how He is healing our son. We give God all the glory and praise. We serve and amazing and loving God and we have just been in awe over the past few days of how endless that love is. Thanks so much again Blondie for the encouragement and for lifting our son up to the Throne of God.

Robin, here is a post from a woman who knows!  Anti M and her husband both were stationed in Japan (Yokosuka) years ago and she was hospitalized a few times. she now lives in the states but her son is stationed in Japan. (full cycle)  this is what she had to say.

Blondie, please, please, please forward to Heath's mom that it would be foolish and dangerous to try to move her son back to the US while he is ill. The hospital on base in Yokosuka is one of the military's best!!!!! He will get convalescent leave when he is ready, 30 days and it does not count against his leave days. They will let him travel with permission on that leave when he is well enough. So please, tell her he is in capabale and caring hands, and don't think anyone in the US can do a better job of healing her boy! I kow it is hard when he is so far away, but she can rest easy knowing the docs and staff are compassionate individuals with remarkable healing skills.

I have to agree, my daughter was hospitalized in the Middle East and OH how I worried But we could not go where she was and she was well taken care off.  We are Praying God eases your mind and gives you rest/Peace.

IM So Glad to hear others are looking in on him for you and that they are taking care of him and staying in contact with you.  What a relief. Now you just have to concentrate on what you have to do, make a list and do one thing at a time. I know it seems overwhelming but God is with you. Know that he is being taken care of and we are all here Praying, you do what you have to and let the rest to us (praying ) and God do our jobs.  it's hard to believe but God Loves Heath more then we ever could or even understand, Heath is in good hands.

Blondie,

He is assigned to the Lassen. We do know a friend of his from the ship and we've been able to speak with his Commanding Officer. His boss's wife made him homemade chicken soup and took it to him last night (God bless her, what an angel). She also called us but unfortunately I missed her call. Everyone is being wonderful to us. We still wish so badly that we could be with him. I was told that in order to have our passport expedited we first have to buy our airline tickets, then make an appointment at an office in Philadelphia (seven hours away) and then they will decide if they will do it for us. Just crazy. Praying for wisdom and guidance.  Lot's and lot's of prayers. Thank you so much for your prayer. It is such an encouragement to my heart.

first let me say Robin no thanks is needed.  He is one of our own!  I also have added the Yokosuka group to praying for Heath, I figured the more the better.  What ship was he on, do you know anyone from the ship?  I wish my daughter was at base, she could go sit with him and check i on him but they are out, (have been since feb.).  I'll try to see if anyone we know is there on base right now.  Praising God for being there for Heath and asking for continue watch and care.

Heavenly Father we thank you for your Love and Care of Heath. Please continue to keep your hand on his brow, guide his doctors and protect him from anymore illnesses. Give him the stregnth that he needs.  Also comfort and give Peace to his parents and family. Help them Lord get their passports and make it to hime safely. Send your Angels to guide and watch over them.  Singing Your Praises. Amen

going now to up-date everyone. Peace to you both, Hugs!
