We ask Our Savior for strength and that He use His divine hand to help one of our great members (Rex) recover from a serious stroke suffered in January.

just ran across this-

Four sailors were flown to Naval Medical Center San Diego where they were in stable condition. The six others were treated for burn injuries on board the carrier. None of the injuries was life threatening, Storum said.

Please pray for the 10 sailors on the USS Stennis who were injuried on the flight deck today.  Lord please heal our sailors and keep your spirit over them.  Amen

Blondie.

Praying girl! I left you a message on Navy Moms. Forgot to tell you that we interviewed with the papers here too. People really want to help right now. It's great that God has moved your heart to facilitate ...be His hands & feet. No greater feeling in the world!

God bless!

God grant me the serenity

To accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And the wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking, as He did, this sinful world

As it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that He will make all things right

If I surrender to His Will;

that I may be reasonably happy in this life

And supremely happy with Him

Forever in the next.

sent this to my daughter, she enjoyed it so much I thought I'd share it, maybe it's what your son/daughter needs to hear right now.

Psalms 46:1

The will of God will never take you

Where the Grace of God cannot keep you,

Where the arms of God cannot support you,

Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,

Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you

Where the spirit of God cannot work through you,

Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,

Where the army of God cannot protect you,

Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you

Where the love of God cannot enfold you,

Where the mercy of God cannot sustain you,

Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,

Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you

Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,

Where the Word of God cannot feed you,

Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,

Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.

Time for me to brag, brag, brag! we had wonderful weather and got alot done this weekend in yard and flower beds (had to it started raining again last night and will turn to snow wed.) The moon was beautiful! finally got my BP under control, not great but controlling it! lots of posative thoughts and prayers going out everyday at 9 (as all my family (and it is BIG) are praying and have spread the word, 2 Churches and FB have been notifired. I finally had to learn to do mass texting LOL

Best news ever.....My sailor called!! we had a good chat. She started out I'm fine, they moved us again to a more secure position. Send, food, soap, deoderatnt! we are out of everything and the base (which we cannot go to) is bare also. everythig being ship to Japanesse, which it should be. but we missed mail in Singapore, no time to load it we were loading supplies all night and headed home in a hurry! I'm almost out of Oatmeal! (this was said with dread and exasperation.) I hate to ask, ask, ask but we are out of everything! (another mass text went out). then she said now for the good news......I've changed jobs, even though I cannot comfort the people myself....I'm helping direct the humanitarian relief! she said this with so much PRIDE and she was crying. Her O-4 and one other O-4 was assigned the duties and was told take who and what you need. (my daughter is assigned to the 7th fleet command and control unit, she works for the Admiral) her O-4 said just give me XXXXX, we'll get it done Sir. So the other O-4 asked for XXXXX (one of my daughter's best friends) and said, we all work good together, it'll be no problem. So the 4 of them are directing all the 7th fleets relief efferts! She said, Mom, I feel like I'm making a difference again! It's not the same as directing troops but this is where they think I'm most needed and It Feels GOOD! and I quess I'm still directing troops just for the good instead of for war. I'm tired to the bone mom but I'm HAPPY!
