For all those who have lost a son or daughter, my family lifts you up in prayer to our heavely Father. We ask that His Holy Spirit come into each of your lives each day with assurance and comfort that your loved one is standing with Him and in His glory! That the memories and love shared will continue in you forever! Amen.

Cora, I believe that the loss of a child is something we learn to live with. Never did I imagine that the little girl that entered my life with her Father and brother would be dead 15 years later. She died in a car accident. Jennifer was 22yrs. old. Though I was not her birth mother I married her father and she called me Mom. I miss her and pray that she is with our heavenly Father. She was 6 when we came together as a family.

Heavenly Father, Hold our Sailors Family close as they process their great loss. We know you have this sailor in heaven with you. Help keep them strong for each other. Allow them to grieve and mourn their loss. It is a loss that few of us will be forced to endure. The loss of a child even as an adult is most difficult. Keep them close to you and allow us to help when the time is right. We know you have suffered this loss also and will guide them. Amen

I received an email from one of our members this morning that the Navy informed them of their sons death. As for now, I believe he is not making this public knowledge. I just wanted our members to know so that they can send a special prayer for the family of this fallen hero. Although not named, please pray for one of our fallen Sailors and for the family left behind.

Lord, I pray that you hold this family in your arms and give them strength during this time. Amen

Lord, please help my son stay strong and focused as he goes into his b21 weekend. Help all of the young men in his division 244. Also bless the families as they travel to Great Lakes for PIR 7/23 and keep them safe. Amen.
