Looks like HS-5 the helicopter squadron assigned to search and rescue for flight operations on the USS Eisenhower is responsible for some saves today as they responded to a downed aircraft 5 miles out from the USS Eisenhower in the North Arabian Sea. One sailor still missing, the search continues. Please pray for them all. Dearest Lord, we ask for your protection and comfort to all involved with the lost aircraft and the search for a missing pilot. Protect the pilot and allow those searching to find him and bring him back safely. Those already found keep them close and restore their health. We praise you for giving the rescue team the skills to perform your will in their recovery. We pray this in Jesus's name, Amen!

Heavenly Father, as a new group of recruits arrive today at Boot Camp, I ask that you would go before them and prepare them for the next eight weeks.
Grant them strength and wisdom to sustain them during the challenging days ahead. Grant them peace and reassurance that you are with them during this time. And be with the parents and family that are new to the experience also.
I lift up my son Jared who arrived today. I pray that you will encourage him and use him in your service during this time. In Jesus Name I pray.

Dear Lord Thanks for all you've done. Help us remember the sacrifice you made so that we to share in life everlasting. To you goes the glory forever. Take care of our sailors. Wrap them in your arms to keep them safe and know that we are greatful for your presence with them. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, Please keep Chief John Coney's family close to you and help them through their loss. We never expect to lose our sailors when they are in home port. Accidents happen and we are overwhelmed. Keep his wife Lorren and daughter Cloe safe and help them feel your love. Remember his mother as she has lost her son and hero. We want them rejoyce in our love. Guide them as the feel lost on their journey through life. Amen

Dearest Lord our Father, I pray for your protection for my son Garrett. He leaves today (Friday in Japan) from Atsugi Navy Air Station for the Air force base in Okinawa to complete his combat SAR qual over the next 3 weeks. Not sure what to expect for him there, but I hope you keep him safe and allow him to learn what you feel he needs to be the rescue swimmer you have called him to be so he can maybe save others who have risked their lives for all of us. Bring him back to his home base safely. Amen

Dear Father we have lost another young man, a 21 year old Marine yesterday in Afghanistan, Jason Estopinal. Father he is the oldest son of Jason and Clair Estopinal of Dallas, Georgia. Be with them especially during these first hard days of this journey they are starting and please touch the hearts everyone around them to reach out and give them strength and support. Please let us remember that the pain does not stop at the grave and this family will need us and our support long after the final good-by. Father in heaven we know you are in control of all things and you are always with us. Thank you for the gift of your Son to save our souls and because of that gift I know you are there for all of us parents that have given our sons and daughters to save our country. Thank you for being there to give us strength to get up each new day and know our children now are resting in heaven with you. In Jesus' Name Amen

Our heavenly Father, Let these new navy parents experience the new plans you have for them and their family members. When they need you, let them realize that the footprints in the sand are yours. Let them know that this is your plan for them in their future and let them begin to feel the comfort of knowing that it is you who is in control, and also father let them remember that your promise was not for safe passage, but for safe landing. Let them also be reminded that the journey is also theirs and not just their sailor. Father, give them the tools they need to deal with their emotions during this life changing process that all military families go through, and let them know that it is alright to cry like they never have before and also to feel the joy of the phone calls, the differences in the attitudes of their children turned sailors. Father, in your sons name we pray and give thanks for all these things you do. Amen

God we have some new parents here. They are needing you to hold them close. Keep them in the palm of you hand. Remind them they are supported and can rest as you watch out for their sailors. Keep all of our sailors close to you. Remind them they can rest safely and you will be their watch. Protect the sailors in the war zone. Let them and their parents rest and praise you. We ask this with all of our hearts. Amen.
