23:2 En lugares de delicados pastos me hará descansar;
Junto a aguas de reposo me pastoreará.

Me guiará por sendas de justicia por amor de su nombre.
23:4 Aunque ande en valle de sombra de muerte,
No temeré mal alguno, porque tú estarás conmigo;
Tu vara y tu cayado me infundirán aliento.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please bless all our military. Keep our sailors close to you. Help bring the wars to an end. Guide those who would harm others in your name, or the name they know you by, see the errors of their ways. Protect our families as they travel during this holiday period. Keep the airline pilots alert and in control. Give us extra patience when we need it. Help us enter the new year with renewed spirt and faith. Amen

POR GENTE ASÍ ES QUE YO SIGO CREYENDO

Me gusta la gente optimista. Aquellos que pese a las circunstancias de la vida, encuentran razones para sonreír. Son como medicina al alma que está afligida porque inyectan vitaminas de fe y esperanza. Me agradan las personas empáticas, que tienen sensibilidad suficiente para conmoverse ante el dolor ajeno y extienden sus manos a todo aquel que la necesite. Me simpatizan todos aquellos que tienen la valentía de levantarse después de una fuerte caída. Que gritan: ¡victoria! Aún cuando escuchan voces que quieren desalentarlos. Los que no se intimidan y combaten aún contra enfermedades terminales o pronósticos fatales. Aquellos que pese a que sus probabilidades parezcan escasas y en las estadísticas, sus perfiles digan que no van a lograr sobresalir del “montón”, logran nadar contra la corriente y llegar hasta donde quieren. Se impulsan y alcanzan llegar hasta el final de la meta. Es que tengo que admirar a todos esos seres maravillosos que se levantan cada mañana e intentan hacer la diferencia con pequeños esfuerzos y detalles. Que no pierden su entereza, ni venden sus principios intimidados ante la crítica o lo que puedan pensar o decir los demás. Son aquellos que sin importar que el día amanezca nublado encuentran fuerzas y hacen hasta lo imposible por vivir la vida de la mejor manera posible. Aquellos para los que la palabra rendirse, no existe en su diccionario, porque saben que si confían en Dios, habrán posibilidades y nuevos caminos que conducirán hacia oportunidades que pueden traer el éxito y las bendiciones. Me quito el sombrero ante todos aquellos que siguen creyendo en Dios, aunque haya muchos ignorantes y otros que se crean muy sabios como para dudar de la presencia de ese Padre Celestial. Que aún cuando muchos tratan de burlarse o denigrarles se mantienen inconmovibles sobre la roca soberana y el castillo fuerte de su salvación que es Jehová.

God Bless all our military. Many are far from home and need your care. Help everyone remember you sent your son and your scarificed him for us. This is also a time of new beginings. The year comes to an end an we can renew ourselves. Starting anew and forging ahead we can show the world we are not defeated. Keep us close to you and bless everyone. Amen
