My son Garrett is back in Japan from his second tour, this time with the USS Cowpens. He is finishing packing as he has leave to come home Tuesday! Yahoo! We look forward to welcoming him home at Orlando Int'l Airport that night. We have him until Dec 11, so we will just have to have Christmas early! What a wonderful Thanksgiving we will have and we give thanks for all the blessings that have been provided to bring him home. All the best to your families and with the great thanksgiving thoughts for you and your sailors!

Dear Heavenly Father, Please help us with our daily trails and tribulations. I am prayingfor knowledge and guidance . Many of us are anxiously awaiting the results of advancement exams. Our sailors study and try hard to gain more knowledge. The hurry up and wait game is hard on them as they have been told it will be about an other 10 days. Help us all be patient . Grant us the strength to be supportive in the outcome. Help all of our sailors and families remain healthy in this time of pandemic illness. AMEN
