God is mighty, God is good. I have just received phone calls from the offices of Senator John McCain and Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick from the great State of Arizona. Their aides have told us that they will start an inquiry into Todd's discharge. They cannot, will not directly intervene but they could after examining the facts ask the Navy to reconsider their decision. That is what we have hoped and prayed for that the information would be looked at again. We couldn't ask for anything more. There are times that you think as a miniscule part of this country that you can't affect anything. God considers each and every one of us. It appears that this is not over yet. Praise God!

Thank you everyone for your kind words and prayers for us and Todd. Todd has filed his appeal and he will meet with legal today. As this is a medical issue we are pretty much prepared forthe worst. What makes this particularly hard is that from the moment Todd made his decision to serve everything went like clockwork. He needed a hundred dominoes to line up and fall at the right time. Every single one did what it was supposed to do. God moment after God moment and now this. We are praying unceasingly for a miracle but will never be able to understand it.

2x4 This is bigger then you---turn it over to God and he will lead you where he needs you. I really dont understand either and I am sure Todd is very hurt and your family is devastated but it will all be good in the end. Todd I am so extremely proud of you for all of your accomplishments so far and I hope you continue to do well no matter where god leads you.

2 X 4..God bless you and Prayers for Todd. I believe God has great plans for Todd weather he serves in the Navy or not. I know your hearts must be troubled but know that the Almighty is sovereign. I know you know that but he will work this out for the good. I do pray for a miracle for him if he is to be on a sub. Please follow up....

Lord, be with all our recruits going thro battle stations and preparing to become sailors.give them strength and wisdom. may all their parents attend PIR, it is amazing and they need to see their son/daughter in a new light as a United States Navy Personal.

Fellow Navy Moms and Dads,

Our son is in boot camp ship 011 div 024. We just learned that he has been moved to ship 5. They are saying he is going to be medically discharged over what they are diagnosing is Angio Edema or more simply put a case of the hives. We are as a family devastated by this turn of events. It looks like his hope of being a "nuke" aboard a submarine is over. Please offer prayers for Todd. We are going to need amiracle to save his enlistment. Does anyone know if he can at this late date change his job? if he could how and where would he go about it. it looks like he could be discharged as early as three weeks. God is great and we trust him in this. What is difficult is understanding God's plan for Todd. We were so sure that this was the right path at the right time for him.

God, Please help us to be forgiving and gracious as you are. Yet we are confused by the sudden onset of violence in our own country against our brave military personnel. Hold Tyler in your loving arms giving her her time in Heaven. At the same time wrap your other arm around her friends, family, and especially her parents. They are so hurt by their untimely loss. They need your comfort. We are trying to understand why this is happening. Keep your support and love around each of us and our sailors. AMEN
