Thanks you for all the prayers for Gerrick and his family. He is survived my his mother Marilyn and sisiter Seeley. He died in Afganistan of non combat injuries on tuesday I believe. Life is so precious, and i thank the Lord for every minute I have been able to spend with both of my children. I pray that God will watch over both of them, and keep them both safe. I pray that God will guide John through his Navy career and keep him safe from harm. I also pray for all the other sons and daughters serving in our military today to keep them safe.

Jeri, God bless you and your family. It is always hard when someone we know and our sailor grew up with dies suddenly in this conflict. We have to have faith that God will take care of them and help their loved ones through this most difficult time. I pray God keep each military family safe and together. If we lose a loved one please support us as we support each other in the most difficult of situations. May your love and guidance help sustain us. May we remember you have lost a loved one in a conflict. Thank you for being there even when we do not acknowledge you. Amen.

God, I don't understand the deaths of these young men and women, but I know You do. Garrick had so much life left to live. Heavenly Father, once again, I ask that you comfort another family who has lost their son fighting for those who couldn't fight for themselves. Carry them through this difficult time as only You know how. Thank you Jesus that we are able to share prayers in a country that lives in freedom. Bless this family, comfort them, and bring them a peace that they've never known.
