brenda, we all want our children to turn to God. we can only teach by example and pray for them, God hears our cry for help. He knows our hearts even when we can't put words to it. sometimes sitting quietly with the anguish, unable even to pray, i feel Him, the Holy Spirit will cry out for you. know my thoughts are with you and your son. All in his time and in God's time. we must remember we all have free will, and God will use the saddest, hardest times to break us. just believe good will come of this, you may not know it or see it right away, but God's hand is upon your soon, he knows every hair on his head. You have done your job, you have raised a great son, let him and God do the rest. I know it's not easy to let go, i struggle with my journey also, but i know God is there for us, to help us. we must grow too, and yes sometimes it's very painfull. just now you are not alone and neither is your son.

Cindy~thanks so much. You are right, he does keep alot to himself. I asked him tonight if he would pick up his bible every once in a while when he feels that way. I have been trying to lead him the right way. I know the Lord has them all in mind and is in control. It is that helpless mommy feeling that I have when I feel I need to be able to do more to encourage him. I will leave it in God's hands and ask that he watch over all our men and women of the service and give them all the strength they need.

Brenda ~ Been out of town this weekend, just saw your post. Sons can be so frustrating at times. We females love to talk our problems out, males like to keep it inside and deal with it themselves. There are times when we just don't know how to pray, but the Lord knows what's going on with your son.

May you rest in the Lord knowing that He has control and knows what is in your son's heart. I pray that your son will reach out to the Lord and ask for guidance or whatever it is that he may need. May you both find peace in knowing that you can cast all our cares upon Him and lay your burdens down at His feet.

mommy phillips~thank you for your prayer. It means so much to me when we all can join together in prayer for such wonderful young adults, who are doing great things for their life and future. Yes I do know about the stresses of life. I just want him to turn to the Lord as well when he is troubled. May God bless you, and all of us. Have a wonderful, safe weekend.

brenda, so sorry to her about your son concerns, we've all been there, so we're here for you now. Just remember it's not the navy, kids go through ups and downs all the time in school, college and life. it could be girl, finacial, anthing But know God is there for him and you!
Dear God, pleas hear Brenda's cry for help and understanding. give her son what he needs Lord, a good friend, the courage to talk to his mother, a shoulder to cry on. give himcourage and strength to turn to you and lean on you during his time of stress. As always Lord i ask that you protect our military men and women and their families. give us wisdom and Peace. Amen.

Brenda; My prayers are with you and sailor. I am sure there is nothing worst then having your sailor not happy. I hope he gets help soon. Its hard when we are so far away from our sailor when they need us the most. You and your sailor are in my prayers

I am in need of prayer for my sailor. Please pray for him. He is up and down, I try to get him to pray or talk to a chaplain, he won't I send him a prayer daily,. Please pray for my sailor. He drains me to think he is not happy and he won't really tell me what is bothering him for fear I may post it. I would not do that, but that is the way he feel. Thanks for your prayers. Have a great evening.
