to dave & family- there are no words to adequately offer comfort when something like this happens except to say we will keep you in our prayers.

To Dave and family...After I read all of the previous posts on here about your situation my heart broke. I don't even know you personally but I wanted to tell you my family and I were in tears as we were reading. I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through right now. I pray that the Good Lord wraps you in his loving arms and comforts you in your time of need. May God bless you and your family.

This comment is for Dave and his family,and for Nick and for the rest of the families that need prayer. We don't know the mind of G-D to even offer a comment as to why this might have happened. All we can do, if you belive and trust G-D, that G-D knows why and He has a perfect plan. I hope this brings some form of commfort, and strenth. My prayer is that G-D will send to you the commfort of the Holy Spirit to bring you GoD's commfort understanding.

Dave, I have been keeping up with the posts and praying for Nick and your family and will continue to do so. I know there is nothing that can be said that will give you relief, but trust in the Lord. I really don't know what else to say. God Bless you and yours.

Dave and family-

It is with a heavy heart that I read your post. I can only imagine what the past few weeks have been like for you and I cannot fathom the depth of anguish that you must have gone though to make the decisions that you've had to make.

We take solace in knowing that HE has a master plan and though we cannot hope to understand why HIS plan unfolds the way it does we take comfort in knowing that there is a reason things happen as they do.

You are a part of the NavyDads family and I know I speak for all of us in saying that you and your family are in our prayers.

Dave & Joni,

My heart go's out to you both. I symphatize with the decesion you both were facing. I agree with it and I'm sure Nick would too. You both have done the right thing. My family has been praying for yours and Nick since this accident occured. We will continue our prayers. You both have raised and outstanding young man and should be proud of yourselves. Nick will never be forgotten as a United States Sailor on this site or throughout the tribute videos he's in. He was taken from you to early in life but in that short life he will be remembered as a Hero in my book. He will be missed by his Navy family on this site as well as his fellow Sailors.

May God wrap his arms around your family in this time of need and give you the strength to carry on. We will continue to pray and will always be here for you.

praise God for he is good! My daughter contacted her sister to let her know she arrived safely to the location. may they all stay safe in God's loving arms.

my daughter is in the middle east, she's an IS, and is going "OUT" she will be uncommunicatable until i get that call saying she's back and everyone is safe.
asking for prayers for her and all those she protects and their families.
