Jon, your inclusion of my son on your church prayer list is very deeply appreciated! Please be assured that I too will be praying for your daughter and all of our brave daughters and sons in the military!

Thank you for your prayers!  Congratulations to you and your son Brian.  I had my PIR 23 years ago and I still remember it to this day.  Bill... I'm starting a prayer list for our church based on prayer requests from this board so I'll be including your son in that.  Enjoy your time together before he leaves... it was a really special time for me and my daughter as we got her ready to go.

I'll be praying Jon! Our son just had PIR last week. It is unbelievable how fast the 8 weeks go by, yet there are times when it seems like a long time. ~Blessings

I have a specific prayer request that I'd like to put out to my Christian brothers and sisters...  I talked to my daughter on Friday and she is doing well.  The only struggle she is having is with the run.  She does fine with all the other parts of the PRT but needs to improve her run time.  She asked for prayer in that area so I'm sending it out and asking all the prayer warriors to join with me. "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16

My son is heading to boot camp on May 1st and I just recently joined Navydads.com. As a Christian I especially wanted to join this group! I would appreciate you all keeping my son in your prayers. Likewise your brave sons and daughters will be in mine. If you have any special prayer requests you can count on me. God bless each of your sailors! May The Lord guide them, help them reach their full potential, and always watch over their safety!

My prayer for my daughter has been that, like Esther, she would find favor with those who are over her.  God has been so faithful and this specific prayer has been answered.  I just got off the phone with her and she said that her CCs are hard on them but they are fair.  Thank you Lord!
