Our son landed in DC this afternoon. He's exhausted from the trip from Tokyo and is finding his way to the base. We're so thankful that after 18 months of waiting, he's finally in a place where he can get the medical care that he needs. We want to thank you all for keeping him in your prayers. This mom and dad have very thankful hearts today!

Forrest and Richard,  Thank you for your prayers and the service of your families to our country as well.  I got a phone call from my daughter today and it was great to hear her voice.  She's doing well and is starting 1-1 day tomorrow.  She has been in P-days for the past week and a half so now the fun begins.  Thanks again for the prayers!

Jon, Welcome to Navy Dads and congratulations to you and your daughter.  Because of the lack of communication, Navy Boot Camp is a long 8 weeks.  It was for me.  I remember when we started receiving letters from our son that it was like a Christmas gift each time.  It goes by fast and you will be SO proud of your daughter on graduation day.  We will be praying for you and your family during this time.  Again, congratulations and thank you for your daughter's service to our country...

New to the NavyDads.com as my daughter just finished her first week of bootcamp.  We covet the prayers for her and for us as this is our first child to leave the house.  I'll be keeping up with the forum and praying for any and all that need the prayer.  God's blessings to you all.

I am asking any christians to please pray for Ship 14 DIV 077 and especially for the gals that can't swim and those that have limited english skills.  I am passing this request on as my gal from that unit specifically asked me to do.

It goes without saying, pray for all of our warriors and those who are so selfless to serve & protect our country.
